Frequently asked questions

How do I make bouncing ball simulation videos?

Pick a template like Rotating Ring or Plinko. HypnoSim runs the simulation right away with a random seed. Change gravity, bounciness or the template settings if you want, then download the MP4. A 30 second video takes about 10 seconds.

Is HypnoSim free?

Yes. Every template, format and sound feature is free with no signup. Exports carry a small hypnosim.com watermark.

Which formats can I export?

Vertical 9:16 (1080×1920) for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, wide 16:9 (1920×1080) for YouTube and square 1:1 (1080×1080) for Instagram. All exports are 60 fps H.264 MP4 with AAC audio.

How does the sound work?

Each collision plays a note at the exact moment it happens. On Music Stairs the balls play a melody step by step, and in Arena Battle each team has its own pitch. You can also upload your own MIDI file as the melody.

What makes these videos satisfying to watch?

The sound matches every bounce, and each template has something to follow: a ball count that keeps growing, a score race to 100%, marbles racing laps or balls dropping into a ×10 slot.

Can I recreate the exact same video again?

Yes. The same seed and settings always give the same video, in every format. Note the seed of a run you like and you can render it again later.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Everything runs in your browser, including the physics, sound and MP4 encoding. Chrome or Edge gives the fastest exports.
